Unit 304 Paradise Island

To begin the task we created are island with every think we wanted to make it paradise. There were a number of amusements including race track, theme park with its own arcades, bar, gym, shopping centres, football stadium, cinema and music festival area where parties don’t stop day or night . We also had our own hospital with a helipad and other necessities including airport, pharmacist, nursery, school, university and farming land for growing fruit vegetable and raising animals.
After paradise island was established with a number of amusements and all the necessities needed. The island was so popular there were a number of people who wanted to apply for a passport to become a citizen. To begin with there were ten people who applied for a chance to come to paradise island of the ten only five were able to stay due to there being only five passports available.
To find the five candidates who would come to join the diverse friendly cultural community of paradise we then discussed in a group the attributes and characteristics of the ten candidates and why they would or would not be suitable.
The five candidates we chose are as follows
Applicant 1
A super model with money amazing social life and famous actor boyfriend but she suffers from anorexia and depression.
We chose this candidate because we felt she would be able to sort out any problem she had by coming to paradise.
Applicant 2
A 17 year old blonde girl who weighs 20 stone
We chose this candidate because we felt she would benefit from coming to the island.
Applicant 3
A woman aged 40 who has six children is a vegetarian and also has a wicked sense of humour.
We chose this lady because we felt she could contribute to the already diverse community of the island.
Applicant 4
A single parent aged 23 who have two children.
We chose this candidate because we felt the island would benefit from having more children
Applicant 5
A 60 year old man who has a criminal record for shop lifting at 18 he spent his life working with young people who had been in trouble with the law.
We chose this person because we felt that he could be useful to the young people of the island with the knowledge and experience his had.

  1. Joe,

Very good that you have expalined the activity but you need to reflect on the activity. Also You have only posted twice so far. Ideally you need to do it everyday so that you don't have to do extra work on this.

  2. Joe,

This is feedback on your site and blog design and content.
Site- I liked the banner. very good and different but can't say the same about the theme you have used. The background image interferes with the text. Text colour and size makes it difficult to read. Any specific reason you have highlighted the text?

Blogger- Very good appropriate background colour and text colour but not enough posts.. Start posting everyday.
